In a small bowl, combine the miso, tomato paste, chile-garlic paste and a pinch of salt; add the tofu and toss to coat. This is one of my favorite Skinny Taste recipes! Fantastic. – This last time I quick pickled the cucumbers, along with about 1/2 cup of matchstick carrots and some shredded cabbage I had left over. Cook the rice according to the pack instructions. We used a mandolin to thinly slice the cucumbers and they were crisp and fresh paired with the meat and rice. This was great, delicious! This was so amazingly delicious and so super easy to make!! I like to halve the brown rice and add in roasted cauli and it works so well! My sauce is marked as gluten free. There is lots you can do with this.

This is one of my go to meal have also made it with ground chicken  I also subbout 1/2 the rice for thinly shaved cabbage so good and less caloric. Defiantly making this again!! Add the onion, garlic and ginger and cook 1 minute. Easy to put together and my hubs loved it! You don’t want to miss it. Super easy and just as good without the Gohchujong sauce. Last night we decided to use it to make a “weeknight” bibimbop.

My husband usually says “it was fine” or “good” when I ask how dinner was. Bulgogi rice is a lot more common, but I’ve had this same basic recipe using chicken (tak bulgogi) and that is even better, imho . this was AMAZING!!!! The cucumber gives a crunch and an added flavor that melds so well with the rice and the beef! Do you have a recipe for it?

If you happen to have leftovers, its incredible on day 2 as well. If it’s that important that you don’t have the gluten, maybe do the research before commenting your own mis-information. And I’m obsessed with frozen brown rice from Trader Joe’s! Made this tonight and it was amazing! I just had to comment to say that I’ve had this on my weekly rotation for the last 4 weeks in a row – we absolutely love it! Our Korean friend said it was the best he's had in New York.

Gina, could you possibly work up the nutrition info for just the beef so I could work it into my carb budget? Can you substitute the sesame oil? I did not add cucumbers to mine, but next time I am going to add broccoli or some kind of vegetable. I actually used this recipe as a guide and adjusted it to my IP and the frozen beef I had on hand. 2 cups snow peas, thinly sliced lengthwise, Sriracha, soy sauce and toasted sesame seeds, for garnish.

WOW!!!! I thought that, while the gochuchang has a little kick to it, it’s not as spicy as the pepper flakes and the depth of flavor really added to the dish. Tried this early in the week, and it was delicious! This was a perfect 30 minute meal for a Wednesday! But too spicy for my little kids, but used the leftover beef as lettuce wraps for lunch the next day!

You might have to use sriracha and mix with a little sesame oil and sugar to get close. My 5 year old loved it (without the Gochujang) and asked me to make it again, so that’s a huge success. For those not on weight watchers, but counting calories (like through apps such as My Fitness Pal) i have calculated JUST THE MEAT portion of this recipe to be 223 calories (per serving). I would also say you could try subbing in 1 tbsp tomato paste (not 2 like the gochujang) to get a similar funky umami flavor. I will definitely make it again! You say “…they tasted so DANG good I new I had to share.” That new should be knew — as I’m sure you know! Will definitely make this again . thank you for another showstopping recipe . Also— momofukus spicy Asian gochujuang sauce really kicks it up another notch if you can find it.

My husband absolutely loves it! My whole family is cooking it on the regular. I think it’s really similar with bibimbap which is most famous korean traditional food. Winner!! Heat 1/2 tablespoon of the oil in a 10-inch cast-iron skillet. I love beef, rice and gochugang. And so simple! We ordered gochuchang sauce from Amazon but when I was buying ingredients last night at Whole Foods I saw they sold it there, too (Annie Chun brand). My whole family loved this!! I made this tonight, my husband & I quite enjoyed it. One person is a vegetarian. Just curious because I was excited it was so little point without rice lol. So this combination is really expect!

I put a bit in with the meat, because I didn’t see it as a condiment – it’s spicy. I think it does – I built the recipe in the WW recipe builder, and left off the rice, using 90/10 ground beef (that’s what I got), and it comes up as 6 pts. Crack the eggs into the skillet and cook over high heat until the whites are lightly browned around the edges and the yolks are barely set, 1 to 2 minutes.

This is by far one of my family’s favorite meals. wonderful! Made this last night. This was so easy and delicious! Not spicy at all, just super yummy! I didn’t have the gochujang sauce so subbed in sriracha and added some sliced avocados on top as well to offset the spice a bit…so good!!!

They sell a gluten-free soy sauce, hope that helps. My kids are young and do not like spicy. this sounds and looks delicious. Unfortunately, there were no leftovers for me to take this work of art as lunch to work the next day. We’ve made it a LOT. I have found coconut aminos on Amazon, however it just doesn’t taste like soy at all to us.
